Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 24 May 2026. This policy sets out how you may and may not use products operated by CARROTLY PTE. LTD.. It forms part of, and is incorporated into, our Terms of Use.
1. The spirit of it
Our products help you create and organise things with AI. Use them for lawful, honest purposes and treat other people the way you'd want to be treated. The rules below make that concrete. They apply to everything you do with the products, including anything you generate, upload, store, publish, or send.
2. Don't break the law or harm people
You may not use the products to create, store, or distribute content that:
- is unlawful, fraudulent, or facilitates illegal activity;
- sexually exploits or endangers children, or sexualises minors in any way — we report credible child-safety concerns to the relevant authorities;
- harasses, bullies, threatens, defames, or incites violence or self-harm against any person or group;
- promotes hatred or discrimination on the basis of race, religion, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar protected characteristics;
- infringes someone else's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
3. Don't deceive with AI
- Don't pass off AI-generated content as human-authored where the law or a platform's rules require disclosure (for example, certain political, advertising, or news contexts).
- Don't create deepfakes, impersonations, or synthetic media designed to mislead, defraud, or damage someone's reputation.
- Don't generate spam, mass unsolicited messaging, fake reviews, or artificially inflated engagement.
- Don't use AI output to give regulated professional advice (legal, medical, financial) as though it came from a licensed professional.
4. Don't attack or abuse the service
- No probing, scanning, or testing the security of the products without our written permission; no attempts to gain unauthorised access.
- No reverse engineering, scraping at scale, or extracting model weights or training data, except where the law expressly allows it.
- No circumventing rate limits, usage caps, paywalls, or access controls.
- No using the products to build a competing service or to train a competing model.
- No malware, no interfering with other users, and no overloading our infrastructure.
5. Respect third-party platforms
Several products connect to services such as LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, and YouTube. You must comply with those platforms' own terms when you use our products with them — for example, their rules on automation, posting frequency, and content.
6. Children's product
Story Time Together is operated by an adult on behalf of a child. Content filters are best-effort and do not replace adult supervision. Don't use the product to generate content intended to frighten, harm, or inappropriately influence a child. See our Children's Privacy notice for how we handle children's data.
7. Enforcement
If we believe you've breached this policy, we may remove content, limit or suspend features, or suspend or terminate your account — with or without notice depending on the severity and any legal obligations. We may also preserve and disclose information where required by law or to protect people from harm. Where appropriate and lawful, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to put things right.
8. Reporting abuse
To report content or behaviour that breaks these rules, email support@carrotly-ai.com. For urgent child-safety concerns, please say so in the subject line so we can prioritise it.
